Chester FC will play in the Evo-Stik League Division One North after the Football Association upheld their appeal against their placement in the Vodkat North West Counties League by the National Leagues committee.

The FA had recommended the new Chester club begin their new life in Step 5 of the non-League Pyramid and four divisions below where they last appeared.

And it could have been worse for Chester, as at the Vodkat League’s AGM on Saturday they faced the prospect of going into their second tier, leaving them five divisions adrift.

But after a delegation from Chester, which is run by City Fans United, presented their appeal to the FA at Wembley Stadium, the FA have agreed that the club should enter the Pyramid at Step

Who is getting booted from div 1 then as they both have 22 teams?

My wife say's I love football more than her. I don't know how she can say that after we've been together for twelve season's.
